Kingfisher Mining confirms presence of lithium-bearing pegmatites at Chalby Chalby with rock chip samples

<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20230807/1691408873266323.png" title="1691408873266323.png" alt="2.png"/></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) has made great strides in advancing its critical minerals strategy with the confirmation of lithium-bearing pegmatite formations on the Chalby Chalby Project in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">KFM used rock chip sampling over a 3.3-kilometre by 3-kilometre area to determine the project’s prospectivity for lithium, returning results up to 0.34% lithium.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Importantly, the project sits along strike from the Thirty Three Suite pegmatites, which are known to host lithium at Delta Lithium’s Yinnetharra Project – initial drilling at Yinnetharra has generated results up to 29 metres at 1.39% lithium.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Advancing lithium and REE exploration</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">“Our first-pass lithium exploration sampling has delivered exciting initial results immediately along strike from known Thirty Three Suite Pegmatites; the pegmatites that host Delta Lithium’s Yinnetharra Project which is just 45 kilometres to the northeast of our tenements,” Kingfisher Mining executive director and CEO James Farrell said.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">“A large area of pegmatite dykes has been identified at our new Chalby Chalby target, with highly encouraging initial lithium assays and fertility results providing a clear path forward for immediate follow-up to advance the lithium potential of our Gascoyne tenements.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">“Our team is currently on site and work to advance our lithium targets will continue alongside our ongoing mapping and sampling which is targeting large-scale carbonatite intrusions.”</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Other rock chip samples included 0.25% lithium, 0.16% lithium and 0.11% lithium.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Kingfisher intends to follow up these results with further sampling, targeting extensions to fertile pegmatites as well as fresh formations in the centre of the Chalby Chalby target area.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Chalby Chalby is directly adjacent to KFM’s flagship Mick Wells Project, where exploration at the CH8 and CH11 targets generated total rare earth oxide (TREO) grades of up to 18.84%, with a high-value component of the magnet rare earths neodymium and praseodymium of 3.34%.</span></p><p><br/></p>
